Any writer that is successful has to work for it. Writing can seem natural in the beginning, but you need to have useful information with the words on the page. Here are four reasons why your writing success is up to you.
You Determine How Much Money You Will Accept
Look at this statement close that you determine how much money you accept. Don’t argue with the statement that so and so the company only pays me a certain amount per article. You are correct that some content mills have that price written in stone. You either accept the price offer or write more. Another option is to write less and accept price offers from a higher-paying company. You can decide which way to make it work in order to be more successful money-wise with your writing career.
No Motivation Equals Reduced Amount of Money
It is best easier for people to slack off earning money when working from home. They often do not apply enough motivation to be taken seriously at their job. They get distracted from cable TV or social network sites. They feel like it is a sick day so they do absolutely nothing whatsoever to earn money.
You Decide How Much Money to Make
Don’t yell at me for saying that statement, but it is true that you decide indirectly how much money you earn. You earn more money when you write more money that gets accepted with a nice price offer. You can expand the writing topics that you write about in order to increase income even further. You can help out another freelance writer by writing a few articles on a ghostwriting basis for him or her.
Refuse Low Pay That Is Less Than Five Dollars per Article
I’m not talking about the five-dollar articles here and there that you should refuse. I am talking about the gigs that only pay a writer two dollars for a four-word article. You shouldn’t accept jobs that only pay a few dollars here and there for each article. You should only write for jobs that pay $5 dollars or above per article. You can figure out that two $5 dollar articles in our hour equal to $10 an hour which isn’t a bad wage at all. It can be an excellent wage in a small town.
