Hello everyone, I’m back! It’s been a rather long hiatus from writing, but I’m back and I’m going to start doing more with this site. Many of you have started following me on my Facebook page, and I appreciate that – I’ll certainly keep posting useful content as much as I can to it. In addition, I hope to start posting blog posts on a regular basis again, and I’m going to start turning some of my posts into videos and uploading them to my YouTube channel. When I do that, I’ll certainly post to the Facebook page and let you know!
Now, onto the blog post…
As many of you know, I’m a big fan of free or cheap websites that help improve my writing and create interesting, appealing visuals. One website that I’ve been using the past few months to create photo collages and add interesting effects to the photos I take and I find online, is Picmonkey. In this post, I’ll tell you more about Picmonkey and some of the visuals you can create with it.
What is Picmonkey?
Picmonkey is a website you can use to make simple touch-ups to photos. You can also use it to create different types of visual media, like banner ads, eBook covers, Pinterest posts, infographics, and my favorite, photo collages.
How much does Picmonkey cost?
If you just want to edit or touch up a photo, you can do that on Picmonkey for free. If you want to create the different types of media I mentioned above, it only costs $7.99 a month for a monthly premium subscription. Or, if you want to get a lower price, you can choose the annual premium plan. The premium plan allows you to store up to 50 images, sort, save and export them, and it gives you access to advanced touch-up tools, effects, overlays, and fonts, among other things. Or, users who want unlimited storage, and want to be able to organize their photos can choose the Supremium plan. This plan costs $8.99 per month, billed annually for a total of $107.88.
Which plan should I choose?
That depends on your needs and budget. For right now, I’m sticking with the premium plan because it gives me everything I need to create nice visuals for my website and Facebook page.
What kind of visuals can I create?
As I mentioned above, you can create all sorts of visuals, such as banner ads, eBook covers, Pinterest posts, infographics. My favorite visual that can be created with Picmonkey, though, is photo collages. Photo collages allow you to take several photos and put them together. You can create a photo collage with as few as two pictures to an infinite number of pictures. For this post, (http://http://workathometipsonline.com/mailchimp-vs-mailerlite-vs-aweber) I created a photo collage with logos from different newsletter websites.
If you’re looking for a cheap, easy way to different types of visuals for your website or social media sites, you should definitely check out Picmonkey. If you’ve had experience with Picmonkey, whether it’s been good or bad, please comment below.
